I hate having my fridge filled with a bunch of Tupperware. This year you can just layer everything in this casserole dish. You’ll save space in your fridge and the best part? Dinner is ready to bake the next day!
- Prepare and layer the turkey: Preheat the oven to 400°F, then add a layer of turkey to the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Make sure you have enough turkey to evenly cover the bottom of the dish. Drizzle with a little chicken broth if the turkey is dry.
- Add the mashed potatoes: Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the turkey.
- Add vegetables: Sprinkle the greens over the potatoes.
- Layered sauce: Pour remaining sauce evenly over vegetables.
- Add the filling and bake: Add a layer of leftover filling to the top of the casserole. Drizzle with a little chicken broth if the filling is dry. Cover with cling film, then bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for a further 5-10 minutes, until the filling is golden and crisp.
- Add cranberry sauce and serve: If desired, add cranberry sauce over leftover Thanksgiving casserole, then serve.

Ingredients
- 3-4 cups sliced or grated turkey
- 3-4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup meat sauce
- 2 cups leftover vegetables I used green beans
- 3-4 cups stuffed
- chicken broth as needed
- cranberry sauce optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add a layer of 3-4 cups sliced or shredded turkey in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Make sure you have enough turkey to evenly cover the bottom of the dish. Pour some over chicken broth if your turkey is dry.

Spread a layer of 3-4 cups mashed potatoes evenly over the turkey.

Sprinkle 2 cups leftover vegetables over the potatoes.

Pour evenly 1 cup gravy over the vegetables.

Add a layer of 3-4 cups stuffing to the top of the saucepan. Season it a little chicken broth if the filling is dry. Cover with cling film and cook for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for a further 5-10 minutes, until the filling is golden and crisp.

Cover the top of the casserole dish with cranberry sauce if desired and serve.
Notes
- Go ahead: Instead of placing all your leftovers in individual Tupperware, layer them directly in a saucepan, wrap them tightly, and store them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. When ready to cook, add another 5 minutes to the cooking time to reheat.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat portions in microwave in 30-second increments until hot.
- Freeze: Wrap the assembled casserole tightly and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and cook as directed.
