Why should I plan meals?
If you haven’t tried meal planning yet, this is your sign. Trust me, it’s about to change your life. Here’s why I swear:
Time saving: No more “what’s for dinner” at 4pm? panic. You already know the plan, the groceries are waiting, and dinner actually arrives on the table.
Saving money: Planning keeps your cart (and your budget) in check. You can shop smarter, buy in bulk when it makes sense, and turn leftovers into something new.
Bye bye takeaway: When you have meals ready, you’re much less tempted to hit the drive-thru. The more you save, the more home-cooked meals, and you just feel good.

Save leftovers for meal planning
I only plan meals Monday through Friday because sometimes we have weekend plans or I have leftovers we can use to finish the week. If you have leftovers, be sure to store them properly in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
